we’re Sarah + Daniel

A husband and wife team working to turn backyards into Snackyards.

Whether it is in the garden or around the fire pit, we wholeheartedly believe that spending more time outdoors and fostering relationships with Nature is as good for you as it is for the broader environment. This is why we are on a mission to create beautiful spaces that facilitate a connection to your food, your region, and your local ecosystem - filled with snacks for both you and wildlife.

High-quality landscaping services for homes in Atlanta

Growing food and spending time outside has always been fundamental to who we are both as individuals and together.

Similar backgrounds in nonprofits and sustainable agriculture fortunately led our paths to cross. When our mutual love for sending time outdoors and digging in the dirt became undeniable, the rest was history. We quickly found ourselves beginning life together transforming our own quarter acre backyard into an urban homestead and pollinator sanctuary.

In a rapidly changing and unpredictable world, our garden continues to be a stabilizing source of comfort that allows us to nourish ourselves and connect with loved ones through sharing the harvests and breaking bread. More than just a source of beauty, our garden gives us purpose as we make meaningful contributions to the health of our ecosystem and community. It is a feeling we want more people to experience.

This is why we decided to start Abundance Landscapes and Gardens.

Meet the Abundace Landscapes Team

  • Daniel | Co-Founder

Daniel Mobley holds a degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Agroecology, and brings over a decade of hands-on experience in ecological landscape design and construction, sustainable farming, and horticulture. His work is rooted in a deep understanding of regenerative systems, with hundreds of gardens and landscapes constructed under his guidance. Daniel's passion for creative, intentional landscape design is evident in every project he leads and every conversation he engages in—offering clients not just beautiful outdoor spaces, but living systems that foster connection, resilience, and biodiversity.

  • Sarah | Co-Founder

Sarah started her career working on an organic farm and working for UGA running a food recovery program that provided fresh meals to food insecure older adults. This led to a Masters in Public Administration and a decade-long career in public service, including many years at the Feeding Georgia doing development and advocacy work. When Sarah isn’t managing Abundance, she is an avid tennis player, stand up paddle boarder, and pursuer of art.

  • Allan | Design & Build

Allan Cobb studied Horticulture and Ecology at UGA. As a certified Master Gardener, Allan is a true native plant enthusiast with nearly two decades of experience leading large scale landscape renovations and pond installations. With incomparable local plant knowledge, Allen specializes in artful ecological landscapes with a keen eye for natural yet elevated design. • Paul | Landscape Designer & Plant Specialist

Paul Judin, an Atlanta native and graduate of the Georgia Tech School of Architecture, brings a refined design sensibility shaped by five years of professional experience in New York City. Upon returning to Atlanta, he shifted his focus toward ecologically conscious design work. Paul's approach is rooted in a holistic philosophy—blending thoughtful planning with a deep commitment to environmental integrity and resilience.

  • Lucy | Snackyard Pup

Since her adoption in 2010, Lucy has always dreamed of patrolling her own homestead. After years of experience fending off backyard squirrels and rabbits, her goal became reality when she accepted the role of head guard dog at the Abundance Homestead. Nearing retirement at age 13, she still emphatically enjoys hanging with the chickens, keeping pests out of the garden, and eating as many carrots and radishes as possible - the key to her youth.

Our work wouldn’t be possible without our talented team of designers, builders, and horticulturalists who are as passionate about creating and maintaining sustainable outdoor spaces as we are.
