Sandy Springs Wildflower Meadow

This meadow was designed and installed for an existing client who wanted to expand upon her previous landscape renovation to include fruit trees, flowers she could use for bouquets, and whimsical grasses that would sway in the breeze. The blank canvas behind the fire pit was an obvious location to expand, so we created a design that included blueberries, cold hardy citrus, pomegranate, asian persimmon, and dozens of native wildflowers and grasses that were selected to offer year round beauty and interest.

During installation, we prepped the site, laid out the design, and got to work installing the hundreds of grasses and wildflower flowers plugs. We also included a hidden path behind the meadow that will be used when harvesting the fruits and berries. This is a first year meadow, installed in spring 2023, and we can wait to watch it mature and thrive!
