MicroLife Development Landscape

The Cottages on Vaugh is a micro-community in Clarkston, Ga, intentionally constructed in 2020 with inclusion, community, and sustainability at the heart of the design. With eight ‘micro-cottage’ homes, roughly 250 sq/ft each, surrounding a shared community green space, it only seemed fitting to create a landscape that encouraged connections with the community and nature.

This is why we teamed up with the Microlife Institute and Roots Down Georgia to create an edible landscape that is as beautiful and diverse as surrounding Clarkston community. This landscape is packed full of fruit trees, berry bushes, seasonal vegetables, and year-round perennial flowers and shrubs for all of the residents (and pollinators) to enjoy.
